Czech Republic, a post-communist country in East-Central Europe, is oftentimes presented as one of the most secularized countries in the world. Albeit constituting no more than 15% of population, members of Christian churches develop extensive activities in many spheres of public life. Chaplaincy is an example of ecumenical initiatives reinstated after the fall of the Iron Curtain in 1989.

Příspěvek se věnuje analýze různých aspektů, které se využívají pro hodnocení kvality pracovního života. Čerpá z dat reprezentativního výzkumu ekonomicky aktivních obyvatel České republiky provedeného v roce 2019. Na empirickém podkladě ukazuje, že dopad okolností pracovního života na pracující není vždy univerzální ani jednoznačný, že existují minimálně čtyři základní vzorce působení.

Stať představuje základní výsledky sledování vývoje subjektivně vnímané kvality pracovního života v České republice. Využívá data z reprezentativních výzkumů pracujících, které byly realizovány od roku 2011 a při nichž byl uplatněn dotazníkový nástroj SQWLi (Subjective Quality of Working Life index). Výsledky v první řadě ukazují, že na úrovni jednotlivých aspektů i širších domén pracovního života dochází v průběhu času ke změnám jak z hlediska jejich důležitosti, tak hodnocení.

All experts agree that social housing in the Czech Republic is a necessity. However, one dangerous theme circulates in the discussion: homelessness is reduced to housing, and the debate evokes it can be simply resolve by the existence of social housing.

Survey-based measures of subjective well-being are increasingly often analyzed cross-culturally. However, international comparison of these measures requires measurement invariance. Therefore, the major goal of this study is to investigate the cross-country and cross-time comparability of the 4-item positive and 7-item negative affect scales used in European Social Survey Round 3 (2006) and Round 6 (2012).
