V roce 2016 vydala VŠCHT Praha spolu se Sociologickým ústavem AV ČR knihu Hledání dynamické rovnováhy: Tři generace výzkumnic na VŠCHT Praha. Kniha ve dvaceti rozhovorech představila vědkyně, výzkumnice a pedagožky působící na VŠCHT Praha s cílem ukázat vzory začínajícím vědkyním či studentkám uvažujícím o vědecké dráze.

The article studies Czech sociologists who left Czechoslovakia immediately following the communist takeover in February 1948 and their subsequent academic and personal fates in exile. Attention is devoted principally to Otakar Machotka (1899–1970), a prominent figure in both Czech political life and pre-Marxist Czech sociology with strong personal and methodological ties to the Chicago School, whose correspondence and other archived sources made the research possible.

Kniha Bytová revolta: Jak ženy dělaly disent představuje dvacet jedna žen, které se nebály postavit normalizační moci v 70. a 80. letech. Svým zapojením do boje proti totalitě chtěly spoluvytvářet lepší podmínky pro život svůj i svých dětí. Kniha chce připomenout, jakým způsobem tyto ženy fungovaly v prostředí Charty 77 i mimo něj, v kulturním undergroundu, ve velkých městech i na venkově.

Historický atlas obyvatelstva českých zemí je jedním z prvních děl hodnotících prostorové aspekty téměř stoletého vývoje obyvatelstva na dnešním území Česka. V celkem dvanácti kapitolách jsou ve vývojovém srovnání představena témata jako migrace, demografická, ekonomická a kulturní struktura, sociální status, kriminalita nebo volby. K zachycení populačního vývoje a jeho prostorové diferenciace jsou poněkud netradičně využívána hůře dostupná historická statistická data.
