Pražská panelová sídliště jsou místa, kde se protíná mnoho protikladů: na jednu stranu jsou ceněna pro to, že zajistila praktické a relativně málo nákladné bydlení pro velký počet obyvatel, na druhou stranu byla často kritizována pro mnoho dílčích nedostatků i pro svůj celkový urbanistický koncept. Pro své obyvatele se mohou zdát jako místa, která se příliš nemění, místa, která jsou v jistém smyslu známá a obyčejná.

The proportion of people seeking a partner later in life has increased in recent decades. However, studies exploring age variation in partner preferences are quite rare. We aim to fill this gap by examining the partner preferences for household care skills, financial resources, and education of unpartnered individuals aged 19–65 years (n = 1145) who participated in speed-dating events in the Czech Republic.

Výzkum na téma Násilí na ženách v souvislosti s COVID-19 vznikl jako reakce na nastalou pandemickou situaci v roce 2020. Díky tomu, že obě výzkumnice byly díky své předchozí činnosti v pravidelném kontaktu s nestátními neziskovými organizacemi, které se v oblasti domácího násilí pohybují – konkrétně Acorus, ROSA a proFem – se k nim záhy po začátku pandemie v roce 2020 dostaly informace o tom, jak nesourodé jsou informace o situaci uvnitř systému pomoci obětem domácího násilí.

Článek se zabývá víceúrovňovými kariérními dráhami českých politiků v letech 2000 až 2017. Nejprve jsme v něm popsali typické kariérní dráhy mezi jednotlivými úrovněmi samosprávy, přičemž jsme rozlišovali vzestupné a sestupné dráhy. Následně jsme se soustředili na vzestupné dráhy směřující až na národní úroveň, které představují nejobvyklejší cestu do Parlamentu ČR.
