V západní Evropě sice volební volatilita za posledních třicet až čtyřicet let významně narostla, skutečnou explozi voličské nestability ovšem spojujeme se zeměmi bývalého komunistického bloku ve východní Evropě. Tato publikace se proto zaměřuje na výzkum volební volatility v 11 postkomunistických státech střední a východní Evropy od roku 1990 do roku 2020. Volební volatilitu studie chápe jako změnu voličské preference ve volbách jdoucích po sobě.

Income redistribution and changes in redistributive policies are highly contested issues that often have a bearing on societal debate and electoral competition. Using European Social Survey data, we trace trends in public attitudes toward income redistribution in 18 European countries from 2002 to 2019, a time period which included the Great Recession, the 2015 migrant crisis, and an increase in income inequality.

Schools for Democracy: A Waste of Time? Roles, Mechanisms and Perceptions of Civic Education in Czech and German Contexts. This article investigates the role of school-based civic education in the formation of political commitment, motivation and self-efficacy. The article is based on 60 qualitative interviews with university students from the Czech Republic and East and West Germany.
