This study introduces basic models of voting behaviour and describes in greater detail the findings and starting points of the model of party identification. It recapitulates findings related to the voting behaviour in the Czech Republic throughout the nineties, as well as the reasons leading to the application of the party identification model to the analyses of voting behaviour.

The author distinguishes between support for democracy as a form of government, and satisfaction with the development of democracy in a (particular) country, and searches for the factors which this depends on. The Article is devoted to religious development in the Czech Republic in the second half of the 20th century. It distinguishes between organised religion and a general belief in super-natural. During the communist regime there was a rapid decline in declared religious affiliation, church-attendance and in number of children with religious education.

The work describes theoretical approaches towards the family from 50s to 80s. The emphasis is especially placed on the Marxist ideology and sociology of family and on the practical implications of these theories. The first phase of the communist regime in 50s was characterised by a strongly anti-family rhetoric and politics, and this was weakened only in 60.

V tomto čísle bychom se rády zaměřily na tématiku genderové identity a transgenderu. Jde přitom o téma, které se až donedávna vnímalo striktně jako lékařský problém, který je možno vyřešit úspěšnou „léčbou“. Již méně pozornosti bylo věnováno sociálním aspektům přechodu genderu, které mohou nabývat různých forem.
