Projekt se zaměřuje na problematiku péče o děti, a to na jedné straně z pohledu státních politik a institucí, a na straně druhé z pohledu veřejných, politických a expertních diskurzů, které odrážejí dominantní mocenský diskurz "správné péče o děti". Za tímto účelem použijeme dva druhy metodologie: institucionální analýzu path-dependency a kritickou analýzu diskurzu. Projekt vychází z předpokladu, že určitá institucionální rozhodnutí přijatá v určitých časových obdobích determinují odlišnost trajektorií různých zemí. Proto provedeme komparativní studii tří zemí: České republiky, Švédska a Francie, a vysvětlíme rozdíly v jejich historicko-institucionálním vývoji. Za druhé předpokládáme silný vliv veřejných, politických a expertních diskurzů na tato institucionální rozhodnutí a vice versa. Budeme proto studovat vzájemné působení institucionálních rozhodnutí a diskurzů, tak jak se odrážejí ve veřejných textech.

The article offers a comparison of the development of institutions of care for children under the age of three in France and in the Czech Republic. It explains the differences in the forms of institutions, policies and the level of statesupport using a comparative analysis of the discourses of childcare that have existed in the two countries since the end of the Second World War.
The article analyses the legal and political regulation of abortion from the perspective of Foucault´s theory of governmentality and biopower. Abortion regulation is presented an example of the way state power influences and disciplines the bodies of its subjects, how it regulates the population and shapes it according to the government needs.
Authors employ frame analysis to explain how feminist organizations, gender-conservative women’s orgs., migrant-oriented orgs. and Roma women’s groups in the Czech Republic frame their care claims. They identify five interpretative frames (gender equality frame, frame of the moral value of the family and the dignity of motherhood, work-centred frame, redistribution frame, and integration frame) and identify possibilities/barriers of cooperation/implementation of their claims.
The author studies changes in availability and use of daycare services in Czech society in context of changes in female laborforce participation, gender relations, family policy and public debates on childcare, population decline and economic prosperity.The author claims that the current decline in daycare services is influenced not only by current socioeconomic trends but is truly embedded in the history of daycare services in the region.
Článek analyzuje právní a politickou regulaci umělého přerušení těhotenství z perspektivy Foucaultovy teorie gouvernementality a bio-moci. Regulace potratů je představena jako příklad způsobu, jakým státní moc ovlivnovala a disciplinovala těla svých subjektů, jakým regulovala populace a tvarovala ji ve shodě s potřebami vlády.
