Konference
12. - 13. 2. 2015
Albertov 6, Prague 2

Ve dnech 12. a 13. února proběhne 6. demografická konference Mladých demografů, a to v prostorách Přírodovědecké fakulta UK v Praze.

Faculty of Science, Charles University in Prague, Albertov 6, Prague 2, lecturing room "Levá rýsovna"

Konference Mladých demografů již tradičně nabízí výjimečnou příležitost strávit celé dva dny diskutováním aktuálních demografických témat a především pak šanci pro studenty a začínající vědce získat názory, rady a motivaci od svých zkušenějších kolegů nejen z České republiky, ale i z jiných států. Již 6. ročník konference Mladých demografů se uskuteční 12. a 13. února 2015 na Přírodovědecké fakultě Univerzity Karlovy v Praze (Albertov 6, Praha 2). Téma konference, „Actual Demographic Research of Young Demographers (not only) in Europe”, je záměrně vymezeno jako co nejširší, aby tak akce zůstala otevřená všem zájemcům z řad demografů i z jiných více či méně blízkých oborů. Akce je organizována sdružením Mladých demografů (http://www.demografove.estranky.cz/) s podporou katedry demografie a geodemografie, Geografické sekce PřF UK, Českého statistického úřadu, Sociologického ústavu AV ČR, v.v.i., SAS Institute Česká republika a sdružením „Young Demography“, výzkumnou skupinou Německé demografické asociace (DGS). Všichni účastníci konference budou mít během akce příležitost prezentovat svůj aktuální výzkum a diskutovat ho s kolegy z jiných států či jiných oblastí vědy. Ačkoli je konference primárně zaměřena na studenty doktorského studia demografie, všichni mladí (i trochu starší) zájemci (a to nejen demografové) jsou vítáni! Pracovním jazykem bude angličtina a kromě několika posterů jsou všechny prezentace plánovány jako ústní. V závěru konference budou nejlepší příspěvky (nejlepší příspěvek s využitím software SAS a nejlepší příspěvek se sociálním kontextem) oceněny partnery akce – SAS Institute pro Českou republiku a Sociologickým ústavem AV ČR.
