Domácí násilí: genderová perspektiva

The chapter examines gender aspects of domestic violence and places it in the general gender system of western societies. It explains the high incidence of domestic violence against the backdrop of different gender expectations and orders for women and men and draws attention to the importance of social transformation for upsetting the traditional gender roles of men and women, which may then be one of the factors for an increasing incidence of domestic violence.
